I have just subscribed to Packet8 Services. I have registered the numbers and Mac addresses. I am using cabling supplied by Packet8 with my phone adapters. When I plug my adaptor it into a female Ethernet plug that terminates into a central location that is then plugged into the router I get no dial tone. I am facing some setup problem. Any one can explain me how to solve this issue?

I think the linksys gave your adapter an IP address when you moved it, it created an IP conflict. You can also faces other problem is bad connection in the Ethernet jack in the wall.

Please check your "Extension cord" to the linksys is more than 100m or more?
