Wireless router and Optical Network Terminal (ONT) are used to start executing Verizon FiOS Internet Service. An Optical Network Terminal (ONT) will be installed on the outside of your home or inside your apartment, if one doesn’t already exist.

You will have to ensure that an outlet is located within 150 feet of where the ONT will be installed.
