Hi, I am newbie at this Pet Forum.
I was quite fascinated by people walking their [b:ed8bb056c0][i:ed8bb056c0]dogs on the promenade[/i:ed8bb056c0][/b:ed8bb056c0]. There is so much togetherness. I am [b:ed8bb056c0]tempted to get a pet [/b:ed8bb056c0]too—wonder what it entails.

Pet Ownership is a commitment and a serious business. The rescues and shelters are overflowing with dogs, cats, and other animals owners have abandoned. Just think are you ready to devote long hours to the pet caring for it, can you stay at home, do you have money to spare a pet can be expensive what with vet fees, training and so on. Do you have children at home how will they react to a pet?
