Air Freight Shipment Rate is calculated on the basis of volume or gross weight, whichever is the greater. The sizes of each piece are necessary to calculate the volume of a shipment.
In case the volume weight exceeds the actual weight, the shipment is charged at the volume weight. If the volume weight is less than the actual weight, the shipment is charged at the actual weight.
