Public prosecutor won't give me my file. Also, can she charge me for having to withdraw herself from my case? I sent my lawyer a letter asking her to withdraw herself and gave her a date and time when I could pick up my file.
She wrote back to basically saying she was surprised I was firing her and that the day I picked to get my file she will be in court all day. She claims that she has given me all the pleadings and she claims she does not have any of the original documents.
This is not true, there were several things that I had to go to the courthouse and get myself because she never sent them to me. Therefore she still has the original documents. She said she is obligated to keep my file for 4 years. Public prosecutor won't give me my file. Also, can she charge me for having to withdraw herself from my case?
