The attorney told me that he was speaking for his client and that was their nothing illegal about it. Although, he apologized many times. With all the privacy acts and laws that we have today, I just can't think that he was right in doing what he did.
My wife was contacted by an attorney looking for my son who had not returned a call. His x-wife wants to have her name removed from the title of a vehicle. The attorney asked if she wanted to know information about why he was calling. My wife did say yes. He then proceeded to tell her that my son was delinquent on car payments.
This upset my wife and after thinking a moment about it, I thought that this cannot be legal for an attorney to give out this kind of information. He had no idea about our relationship with our son and even if he did, this just can't be right. We have nothing to do with the issue between our son and x-wife and quite frankly it is none of our business.
