i have a small room of about 50 square feet with low cielings. how can i make the room seem bigger without knocking down any walls? have any decoratig tips to make the space seem bigger than it really is? i already painted the room white but was hoping to get some other ideas.

| As with anything, the simpler you keep the room, the bigger it will seem. Don't keep a lot of stuff in the room, or what you do keep, put in cupboards or drawers. And don't keep big, bulk furniture in the room. Fine lines, and sleek furniture that is functional but not too bulky will help open up the room. |

| Hang your curtains higher above the window and let them drop below the end of the window. This will give the illusion of bigger windows in the room. |
