Normally the nurses in the hospitals and clinics are working for nearly 8 to 12 hours depends on the work load. There are three shift works in the hospital job so in each shift the nurses’ needs to perform the 8 to 10 hours duty during the normal course of time. In case of emergency the nurses require to do extra work for more than two hours than the normal working hours. Some hospital will compensate the work and gives added benefits too. In some hospitals nurses are working from 7 am to 7 pm too. The nurses are working five day a week.
