There are three major factors are responsible for the obesity. Fist important factor is genetic reason, second one is intake of nutrition and third factor is physical activity are responsible for the obesity of the person. It is essential that nearly 40 percent weight is due to genetic endowment. Genetic reasons for obesity like metabolic rate, appetite and repletion, disturbances in the body fat and getting inactive. Another reason for the obesity is nutritional imbalance or deficiency. One more important reason for the obesity is the physical activity or exercise. It is essential to perform the regular exercise to manage the obesity level.

There are many test conducted to before surgery like Complete Blood Count (CBC), Urine test, blood chemistry values. Glucose Tolerance Test, chest X-ray and an electrocardiogram are use to check the health of the obesity of the patients. In the women vaginal ultrasound carried out to check the taste. In many cases the gallbladder ultrasound test are conducted to apply for gallstones. Some time pulmonary test, echocardiogram and GI evaluation, cardiology evaluation, or psychiatric evaluation is also carried out to check before the obesity surgery.
