Breast augmentation is simple but as with any operation, there are risks associated with surgery and specific complications associated with this procedure. The most general problem if the scar or capsule around the implant begins to tighten can cause the breast to feel hard. The doctor may execute breast implant based on the specifications or preference of women. The breast implant operation is a silicone shell filled with either silicone gel or a salt-water solution known as saline. There is insufficient information demonstrating the safety of silicone gel-filled breast implants, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has determined that new gel-filled implants, at the present time should be available only to women involving in the studies. Capsular contracture can be treated in several ways, and sometimes requires either removal or "scoring" of the scar tissue, or replacement.

FDA is not allowing silicon in the breast surgery because of higher risk. The FDA has permitted the safer practice to sue the gel to implant the breast. It is essential to use the proper method to get the breast surgery with proper clinic.
