The Mediterranean diet is a nutritional approach, the diet consist of a high consumption of vegetables, fruit, bread and cereals, olive oil and moderate intake of fish. Foods are low in saturated fat, high in monounsaturated fat and dietary fiber.

There are many countries within the Mediterranean basis with as many varied variations of healthy eating. While eating healthily is the main factor associated with the Mediterranean diet, there are many advantages of the meridian diet so more and more people are join in the group.

People of the Mediterranean tend to have a more active lifestyle. As time changes the life style of the Mediterranean people where changes. People are more rely on the car rather than hard work so in such a condition Mediterranean diet is much useful for them.
