ALS is immediately hereditary inside only in the low percentage of families. The majority of patients is adult-onset ALS has no history of family ALS, and represents in proportion to the isolated case. This caused by the sporadic ALS (SALS), and although likely genetic they included predisposition, it was which, SALS is not immediately inherited in the family.

Familial ALS (FALS) masked by proper to the incomplete history of family, such as if assume patient or the parents of patient, it is which they died on young they grow old.
