Uterus removal is common in the case of Fibroids. In US alone rate of hysterectomies are more because of fibroids than any other problem of the uterus while Endometriosis is the second leading reason for hysterectomies. Third reason is uterine prolepses where uterus moves from its usual place down into the vagina.
