Medical research proves the cocaine's hurtful effects. The US government have taking various steps to stop the drug trafficking. In USA as well as rest world cocaine consumption gets increases and there are several severing cases have been reported in USA every year. The consumption of cocaine leads to many severs physical effects like stroke, heart attack, cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure and palpitation, narrowing blood vessels etc. In USA there are thousands of cases of brain stroke has been reported every day. There are other symptoms like palpitation, insomnia, lung damage, anxiety, nausea, weight loss and loss of appetite, swelling in mucous membranes etc.

The cocaine is very effective stimulant drugs. It is very effective and has immediate effects on the body particularly in the nerve system. Small dose can increase the energy level in the body and alertness. It helps to complete the task very quickly. The short term effects of cocaine are it increases the energy level; reduce appetite, increase mental alert, increase heart rate and blood pressure, increase temperature and feeling euphoria etc. The short term effects is good but the it’s long term effects is sever.
