Hi, I just started as a registered nurse in June. I work in cardiac step down/PCU. It was really hard at first especially the paperwork. The paperwork takes so much time away from the patient care. I still love my new job. I was a nurse aid on this floor for 2 years before I graduated and being a nurse isn't easier but just wonderfully different. I actually have more time with my patients because I don't have to take care of SO MANY at the same time. Being a nurse aide first made the transition a lot smoother. Well, enough about me.
