I am a runner by nature. I have not had a problem with asthma for almost 25 to 30 years. However recently I've moved to Fort Lauderdale and I started running like I normally do on a daily basis in the morning. I like to exercise any like to run so I started running near the beach and anywhere else they could find. However I started feeling shortness of breath and I felt like there was something wrong. I went to my doctor and he said I have exercise induced asthma which is basically asthma exercise. Waiting to say is my exercise is causing my asthma hope that makes sense. So I was wondering if anyone had any solutions or options as to how I can treat this I don't have this problem anywhere else I used to live in another city.

Well good for you for running. I'm sorry to hear that your asthma is being caused by exercising. That has to suck because I think exercising is a wonderful thing and to have has much where no surprise is really going to prevent you from exercising. What I would suggest is past your doctor about a dehumidifier maybe it is a humidity level that is causing your asthma. If it for example let's say you are in your house majority of the day and you had your humidifier on than what it is that reduce your asthma symptoms of outside. My belief is that for asthma there are triggers and what happens is if you are any have other triggers that are making your asthma sensitive or year-long sensitive than even something small like exercising is going to just be like the thing that pushes it over the hill. When trying to say is consider having a dehumidifier which reduces the other triggers so that way exercising which could be a trigger is a much smaller trigger in to then cause you to have an attack. One of my friends had asthma and what they did is they had to do human fires or three actually one upstairs in that actually helped her asthma. I hope and wish that your exercise-induced asthma or asthma that you're getting because of exercising whatever you call it is resolved and I also hope that you share with us your progress on this forum or any world's because again exercising is a wonderful thing and every so what everyone should do it but if people are not doing it then that hurts them.
