Children are eligible under the IDEA to determine the disability. It gives special education and many other services to get the benefits of IDEA. Under the IDEA child qualify for ADD/ADHD severs. Children qualify under ADD/ADHD qualify for different services under IDEA. It is essential that the child must have to qualify for various disability categories. Child must qualify under the Other Health Impairment (OHI) category and Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and many other categories.

It is essential to decide the criteria decided by the various authorities. The IDEA should be decided by various team of professionals from different disciplines like parents, teacher, principals , psychologists and other school professionals. With the proper feedback of these persons as well as doctors, and progress reports given by the class teacher. It is also necessary to see the academic and behavior reports. Based on all the feedbacks, the child report submit to the authority to qualify under the IDEA. Children qualify under ADD/ADHD qualifies for different services under IDEA. It is essential that the child must have to qualify for all disability categories.
