It is true that if you take excess calories than the calories require by your body per day than your weight will gain. If you take calories as per your requirement and you burn it daily than there is less chances of weight gain. If you take starch, in the daily serving than there is no problem if you can burn the excess calories.

It is most important that if you want to control the weight you should eat smart, cut down food intake, eat low-fat, avoid sugabased snacks; select foods with less fat; and take more fruit & vegetables and whole grains..
