There are two types of benzoyl peroxide available in the market like tinted and vanishing benzoyl peroxide. The tinted benzyl peroxide is made of cream that will help to block out acne. The tinted benzyl peroxide is not allowed to show your acne. There are many people use the vanishing formula to clean the acne. However tinted formula is also safe nut it depends on you to get the treatment of acne either tinted or vanishing formula.
I think, 2.5% benzyl peroxide is safer and commonly used to treat the acne. In some cases people are using the more than 2.5 percent like 5 percent benzyl peroxide concentrate in the sever acne treatment. It is not harmful but it leaves your skin dry. It is not advisable to use the benzyl peroxide with 10 percent concentration. If you try and get the good result than it will be okay with the 10 percent benzyl peroxide. I believe that 2.5 percent concentration of benzyl peroxide is good for you to treat the acne.
