In Hepatitis A, presence of IgM anti-HAV in serum in the blood confirms the diagnosis of acute hepatitis A infection. Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. are the major symptoms of hepatitis A. While in Hepatitis B, a simple blood test detecting the presence of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) and IgM antibody to hepatitis B core antigen
