People suffering from diabetes and if any symptoms of inflammation occurs on the hand or legs than it is not advisable to take the cortisone injection because it increases the blood sugar level. The cortisone injection suppresses some bodily the ability and the infection fight and is possible to worsen the infection or masks the infection by the suppressed inflammation symptom and the sign. Usually, the cortisone injection carefully is used and is avoided in the person by the diabetes in the person by the active infection.

Yes, it has severed side effects on the body if you take the corticosteroids injection for the longer period. Severities of the infections are varying based on the doses. It elevates blood sugar, slimming skins, increase in weigh, and increase bone density like effects of osteoporosis due to damage in the cartridge as well as increase in the blood pressure. It is better you need to consult your physician to know the doses of the infections. I think, it is essential to take the corticosteroids injection to reduce the side effects as suggested by the doctor.
