The vegetarian diets normally eats fresh fruits and vegetables in raw or juice or in salads like whole grains breads, vegetable dishes etc. There are many foods like dark, leafy green vegetables, tofu, almond, figs, calcium sulfate, blackstrap molasses and calcium-fortified orange juice. You must have to select the dark green vegetables, which contains more calcium than the other vegetables. Nutritional vegetable-based burgers and hotdogs are also serving in the USA well. It is more advisable to eat the fruits & vegetables in the raw form.

The vegetarian food contains less iron and zinc so we must have to take vitamin B12 to compensate the nutritional gap. The vegetarian diet contains Vitamin D, C and E and good antioxidant value. The vegetarian diet is good in important minerals like magnesium and manganese. It is higher in fiber. The nutritional supplements are not contains as much as phytochemicals like the fresh fruits and vegetables. The phytochemicals can increase the immune system and can reduce the incidence of heart disease, blood pressure, cancer, obesity, diabetes, kidney, gallstones, and many types of chronic ailments.
