As per the RDA recommendation that majority of men and women are faces should take certain amount of iron supplements as recommended by the doctor. Women are faces chronic iron deficiency. You must take iron supplement s for treating iron deficiency anemia. It is necessary to give 5 milligrams for men and 15 milligrams per day for women. It is essential to take the natural iron rich foods for the men and women to serve it on daily basis. The body needs iron on regular basis so it is essential to take either iron rich foods or otherwise take the iron supplement to get the iron properly.

Generally the women need more minerals because they lose during the menstruation period these are one of the main causes of iron deficiency anemia. The average daily requirements of iron to avoid the iron deficiency of nearly15 to 20 milligrams of iron. You must needs to take the recommended sources of iron like meat, fish and poultry products like eggs to get the maximum iron. meat, fruits and vegetables, wholegrain, soybeans, kidney beans and various types of other source of iron. Iron rich green fruits and vegetables such as potatoes, dark leaves, breads, all types of beans, blackstrap molasses, and cereals and strawberries are the better sources of vitamin C and iron.
