The iron rich foods like meat, fish and poultry it is known as heme iron while dietary iron from plant sources, called non-heme iron, found in beans, spinach and peas and other green leafy vegetables, potatoes, and whole-grain and iron-fortified cereal. You have more deficiency of iron in that case better you can consult the physician. I think you need to take iron supplements as alternative to foods. The intake of iron is depends on the age, gender and body size. The pregnant women need more of iron than the other age person. Nutrition value is also differing for men and women, the men require more nutrition than the women but in certain case women must need calcium and iron adequately.
