The woman need food rich in calcium and iron to build bone mass to reduce the risk of osteoporosis and need iron to increase the value of hemoglobin.

The women need more iron than men because women lose iron through menstruation. In woman the caloric intake varies for each person based on age, gender, and activity level. Generally women between 25 and 50 should eat about 2,200 calories per day to maintain their current weight. According to FDA it is important to note that no one should consumer fewer than 1,500 calories.

You could eat [b]2,500 calories[/b] spread out evenly all day and lose more weight than if you starved yourself all day and then ate a [b]2,000 calorie[/b] dinner. "calories per day" but instead begin focusing on what you eat at each individual sitting.
