Generally the milk is one of the most important diets. It contains calcium and other essential nutrition to keep the bones grows faster and stronger. Normally the children at the age of 5-8 need 800 mg of calcium per day and children in the group of 9-18 needs 1300 mg of calcium per day.

The calcium normally content in milk, yogurt and the cheese. Dairy products are more acidic and the most acidic foods on the PH scale. The calcium can play buffer against excess acidity.

Looking to the fact the on a raw food diet you get lots of calcium from various vegetables, especially green leafy vegetables and broccoli and sesame seeds are high rich in calcium. These foods are alkaline-producing, so the body can actually use the calcium it gets from them.
