don't throw your old cellphones and accessories in the trash. that creates hazardoius waste in our landfills. recyle them! or give them to a nonprofit that can use them. this way you dispose of your waste in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.
some people will buy used cell phone in bulk. soemtimes they will buy it and sell refurbished equipment abroad or to toher buyers. they'll take chargers, batteries, earphones, handsets, and all kinds of extras. otheres collect used cell phones for fundraisers.
here's list of places you can get more information on donating or recylcing your used cellphones. don't forget to check with your local church or if your local grocery store is collecting used cell phones.
Local shelters will usually take old cell phones to help get the homeless or abused women back on their feet. They often need to the phones to be reachable in case a potentiel employer or landlord needs to contact them.
