I gather news articles from newspapers online each day dealing with my subject matter. Most of these articles disappear the next day, but I put them in my blog. Then I link my blog to my website with RSS. If you click on the story title you will go to the original source of the news, and at the bottom is another link to the source with a copyright notice. I don't want to be accused of plagiarism.
Would consider my site a news service, created years before I knew what META meant. Most you guys know me, and that my site is doing very well right now. I don't know how many ulcers I'll get worrying about what duplicate content is, but if I were to ask Webster dictionary that's exactly what I'm guilty of. But Google and Webster don't share the same reality or definitions.
When someone does a search for one of these stories using a keyword, google directs them to me rather than the original source. So far everyone, especially me, is happy.
I've been operating this way for 1 year. Is it going to come crashing down on me??? Can anyone second guess Google? Probably not, but I'd love to hear an opinion.
